Yes, we meet many people in our day,

Hi, how are you, hope all well, we all say,

If we feel something's wrong, even if not,

Say we are there for you, no matter what,

It might not sound so great,

But surely will bring a smile on their face,

Will make them feel confident,

With us, this world, and people near them,

Listen to them who are in need,

Patiently, just keep listening and you'll help them indeed,

No matter what, we are there with them,

Just keep saying it, to people we meet,

We are not alone, is a great way to greet.

Mental health is to be recognized,

People suffering are to be identified,

Just like any other disease,

Not to be ashamed of any of these,

Depression, anxiety, traumas, disorders, 

There are many,

We don't know, all or any,

We don't know how the patient is feeling,

Just get them a professional consultation, for their well being,

I'll just repeat, keep saying,

We'll be there for you, express your feelings.

खिड़कियां, पुरानी और नई

समय बदल रहा आस पास हमारे जैसे,

हमारे घरोँ की खिड़कियां भी बदल रही वैसे,

पहले घर बैठे देखते खिड़कयों से हम,

मैदान में खेल रहे बच्चों को,

हस्ते खिलखिलाते, याद करते अपना बचपन,

आते जाते पड़ोसियों और दोस्तों के,

हाल पूछते निकलता दिन भर,

अपने जो पास है , उनसे बतिया कर,

और जो दूर हैं, उन्हें याद करके ।

समय बदल रहा आस पास हमारे जैसे,

हमारे घरोँ की खिड़कियां भी बदल रही वैसे,

नई खिड़कियां हम सबके हाथों में,

कुछ मेज़ पर रखी है, कुछ हमारी गोद में,

बहुत अच्छी कभी यह लगती,

दूर बैठे अपनों से मिलना ,

पूरे संसार का ज्ञान ले पाना,

विश्व के सारे लोगों से मिल पाना,

दुनिया में किसी से कुछ भी हो सीखना,

और किसी को कुछ भी सिखाना,

कोई कला, नौकरी, पढ़ाई या फिर सब कुछ,

एक उंगली पे मुमकिन हो जाना,

सोचा ना कभी ऐसा भी था होना |

बदली खिड़कियां, बदले इनके अंदाज़,

पहले दिखते थे आते जाते इंसान,

अब दिखती हैं सिर्फ उनकी बनाई पहचान,

इन खिड़कियों से सच्चाई ढूंढ़ पाना, बिल्कुल नहीं आसान,

असली या नकली, मिथ्या या वास्तविक,

सच हो या झूठ, या फिर हो कुछ भी और, 

बस देखना दिखाना बन गया इस जीवन का दौर,

पहले खुले रहते थे हमारी खिड़कियां दरवाज़े,

सभी क लिए, हो जरूरतमंद या कोई अपने,

मुश्किल हुआ अब समझ पाना, 

किसे reply और किसे ignore करें ।

खबरें आती पहले अखबारों में, प्रतिदिन,

छापना होता महंगा, आसानी से दिखती सच्चाई,

बदलने में खबरों को, लगता कम से कम एक दिन,

आज इन खिड़कियों से , हर पल इतनी खबरें है आती,

हर क्षण बदलती, लिख देता कोई कुछ भी, 

अखबारों और किताबों को नहीं यह भाती।

खोलते ही यह खिड़कियां,

लग जाता है ढेर ,

खबर, आर्टिकल, फोटो , वीडियो का,

क्या है वास्तविक, और क्या विज्ञापन,

इसी भ्रम में गुम हो कर,

इस ढेर में से थोडा कुछ देखकर,

फिर बंद कर देते हैं खिड़की,

इस आशा में कि अगली बार खोलेंगे,

मिलेगा कुछ नया, कुछ मीठा कुछ नमकीन,

विज्ञापनों से विचलित हम होकर,

नहीं समझ पाते, क्या है जरूरत, नहीं खानी है ठोकर ।

बहुत कुछ अलग है इन नई खिड़कियों में,

लिखने को है इतना,

कि फिर सोच में पड़ जाएंगे मन में,

आशा है कि हम इन खिड़कियों को,

सच्चाई और अच्छाई की ओर ले जाएं,

झूठ और नकली को परख पाएं,

और फिर से एक बार अपनों और जरूरतमंदों को ,

नए तरीकों से इन नई खिड़कियों से भी जान पाएं।

Yes, I should go there!

There are moments and decisions in life when we want to take the road not taken, or do something different, or go somewhere unknown, for something better, for some goals that we had set for our lives, and our closed ones are scared for us going there, because they love us , they care for us. 

This is for us who want blessings , not fear and smiles not tears from our loved ones. 

Wrote originally for a student wanting to go to a university far away in an unknown city to study , but I think this might help everyone who face something similar. 

Yes, I should go there,

I know that's not usual,

But going there is very crucial,

I know that's a road not yet taken,

But that's all that makes a difference happen,

Yes, I should go there,

I know how you feel,

I understand your heartbeat,

When the place I am going seems unknown,

You love me, care for me, I've always known,

I feel you're very scared,

That makes me deeply sad,

But please try to understand,

Your happiness boosts my confidence,

Your encouragement gives me strength,

It's an opportunity I have fought hard for,

And an achievement that we have wished long for,

A place that's a dream to be,

A step ahead which a great future ahead sees,

Just smile , bless and say yes,

Yes, I should go there.

There always lies something good,

Ahead of a tough choice,

I promise you will be proud later and rejoice,

I will make all of this worth it,

When we all will scream and admit,

It was great that I went there. 

Don't worry!!

When I , you, or any of us is unhappy because of something or someone that we can't do anything about and feel helpless, I have written below something for them. Please read as if some power, god or nature is saying you all of this when you are sad . I wish you to be happy always but if in case you are facing some difficult situations, hope this helps in your times of unhappiness. :)

Oh dear , my lovely child,

You are so loving and kind,

You are beautiful, I'm saying by heart,

Don't worry my child, never fall apart,

Seek happiness inside yourself,

Don't cry because of anything outside,

You are luckier than many on the other sides,

Not all things we can control ourselves,

Don't get sad because of someone else,

You are the one living your life,

Leading a successful, cherishing life,

So happily, luckily with all your close humans,

Then why seek happiness in some other thing or a human,

You will surely get all your wants one day,

Just relax, be happy with yourself for today,

Believe in yourself, I know you do,

Just keep reminding yourself everyday,

That you are the best in whatever you do,

No one can look down on you,

And if someone does, will surely regret it too,

I know you my child, from inside out,

You will get the best, I am saying it out loud.

Nature, Earth and Environment : The sapiens' parents

Happy world environment day!!

 

We all got to take birth,

On this wonderful earth,

We all got to grow up better,

With this ever giving nature,

We all got to eat food and get nutrition,

With our very own trees and plantations,

We all got to quench our thirst and drink water,

With our mountains, oceans and rivers,

We all got to do all we want to,

With the resources we all have access to,

The earth, nature and environment,

Like parents, they have brought all of us up,

As guardians, they have cared, gave us all,

As our shield, protected us from hazards all,

We, sapiens, developed civilizations,

Built some unbelievable creations,

Did everything possible with our strength and brains,

To survive, live the best life, powerful we became,

Yes, change is the rule of nature,

Growth and developments all are essential,

And very important for this world's survival,

But till we don't give back to our parents,

Nature, this earth and the environment,

Till we aren't responsible and care for them,

This cycle of life , won't complete then,

Which might get really bad soon,

We won't leave a good place for the next generations,

If we don't do this now, it will get worse soon,

Given the current numbers and situations,

Given the current rate of decline of our parents' health,

This world, as a whole, soon won't have any strength,

This is the time that they need us badly,

And we can surely change ourselves,

Our lifestyle to keep them safe, happy and healthy,

 

So, Let's pledge to do this for our parents,

Let's give back and take care of them, the earth, nature and environment,

Let's try to consciously use the resources we have,

Let's try to plant a tree, or take care of the ones we have,

Let's try to keep our earth green and clean,

Let's not waste and do more reuse, reduce and recycle,

Let's just do our bit in any way we can.

I have to do this ,
I have to do that,
Oh! How busy I am,
No time to even chit chat,
Watching money plant grow by my window,
Though we don't have any money seeds to sow,
Just wondering how would the world be,
If I had the plant of time beside me,
We could take some time out,
All the problems would subside down,
We would grow and pluck our own time,
It wouldn't matter if it's six or nine,
Oh ! I am getting late for office,
Let me fetch some time from the plant ,
All sorted for us,
Having time in our hands,
The clock would feel sad,
With crying minute and hour hand,
The clock would wonder what has happened here,
The time of chaos, is very near ,
The chaos of time , is everywhere,
One thing, that paces this earth,
One thing, that syncs all of us,
Is this thing we call time,
Which we all follow, everytime and anytime,
From this earth's first breath,
The time has been the superpower,
And it will be till eternity, till the earth's death,
We all have in ourselves, the cycle of time,
From the core to the crust,
Even the sun and the moon,
The plants, animals, the birds,
Each one of us, each cell of us , of this earth, with time, dissipates,
Even the non livings deprecate,
The time, the great superpower, no one appreciates,
The day when we value time,
The hour when we'll be punctual for life,
The minute when we'll listen, and value other's time,
The second when we'll appreciate this gift of life, and this given time,
Will be the time of change,
A change towards something better,
When we'll do it now , not later,
All what we want to think, do, learn and spread,
When we'll surprise ourselves, and not procrastinate,
When the minute to hour to day, ours or others, we won't waste,
It's good sometimes to take rest,
Because it brings out in us , the best,
Rest doesn't mean loss of time,
It means preparing to gain more from the next line of time,
Surprise , work now , not later,
Because we all have to work for something better.

सिखाया स्वामी विवेकानंद ने हम सभी को,
उठो , जागो , और तब तक ना रुको ,
जब तक लक्ष्य न प्राप्त हो जाये,
है यह सीख इतनी अनमोल,
जिसे याद करके हर मुश्किल आसान हो जाये,
हो जंग चाहे कितनी भी कठिन,
जब तक न हो मन में कोई भावना हीन,
कोई भी न रोक पाए जाने से लक्ष्य के करीब,
रखना विश्वास अटूट खुद पर,
करना कड़ी मेहनत इतनी की,
खुद की नज़रों में चढ़ जाओ तुम,
न रखना हथियार कभी नीचे,
बस साहस और कर्म में हो जाओ गुम,
है तुम्हारे पास ज़िन्दगी यह सिर्फ एक,
करने है तुम्हे अच्छे कर्म अनेक,
चढ़ जाओ वह पहाड़,
निकालो एक जुनूनी दहाड़,
कि थम जाए यह जहान,
छू जाओ आसमान,
कर सकते हो तुम,

दिल, दिमाग, समय और समाज

दिल , दिमाग , समय और समाज,
यही सब चलाते ज़िन्दगी का कामकाज,
दिल चाहता है अपनी राह खुद बनाने को,
दिमाग देता एक आकार उस राह पर जाने को,
समाज बतलाता उस राह को सही या गलत,
पर समय, इन सब से जो है ऊपर,
आराम से कहता , रखो सब सब्र,
दिल होता परेशान, कब आएगा सही समय,
दिमाग समझाता , ऐसी ही है जिंदगी की लय,
समाज देता विभिन्न तरह के राय ,
फिर दिल कहता , यही है सही समय,
समय अपने आप पे विश्वास का ,
समय एक कदम बढ़ाने का ,
जो कदम हो सोच की बदलाव का,
कभी ना समझा किसी की सोच को गलत,
ना कभी ठहराया खुद को समाज से अलग,
बस रखना चाही खुद की एक सोच,
आशा रखी, समाज ना समझे इसे कोई बोझ,
खुद समाज का एक अंग है हम,
बस चाहते एक कदम बदलाव की ओर,
ताकि चल सके हम सभी समय के साथ,
हो इस बदलाव में सभी का आशीर्वाद,
एक बदलाव, जिसमें हो सब एक साथ,
न कोई पक्षपात, न कोई भेदभाव,
हो आस पास सभी अपने ,
देखे सब साथ विकास के सपने,
कोशिश करें दूर करने की सभी का दुख,
हो पाए सभी के जीवन में सुख,
कर पाए अपने हिस्से का योगदान,
इस विकास की ओर, मुश्किल लेकिन जरूरी,
पर अगर हो सबका साथ, ज़रूर हो जाएगा आसान ।

सफर और दोस्ती

इन सुंदर वादियों में,
इन लहरों की तेज रफ्तार में,
इस घने जंगल में,
इस विशाल समुद्र के किनारे पे,
लगता ऐसे ,
जैसे बनाया हो चित्र किसीने,
जैसे हो कला किसी अदृश्य शक्ति की,
जैसे रंग भर रहा हो कोई आसमान से,
जैसे कोई कलाकार हो इस हवा में,
कितना प्यारा है यह समय,
कितनी सुहानी है इस जगह की लय,
लेकिन यह सफर, न है यह जगह,
यह सफर है यह दोस्त, यह साथी,
जो भर देते हैं इस सफर में जान,
जिनके साथ लगती हर मुश्किल आसान,
जिनके होने से लगता आब सही,
जिनसे फैलती है हमेशा खुशी,
जो होते हमेशा अपने साथ,
जिनके सामने हैं हम एक खुली किताब,
जो जानते हमारे सारे ख्वाब,
जिनके साथ सफर है बचपन से,
जिनका साथ है हमेशा इस ज़िन्दगी से,
जिनके सामने हुम् रह सकते कमीने,
और आज़मा सकते हर तरह की तरकीबें,
दोस्ती , है एक ऐसा तौफा,
कुछ अलग, कुछ अनोखा सा ।

अनेकता में एकता

अनेकता में एकता होती यहां काश,
ना कभी कोई करता अपने आप की तलाश,
कर पाते सब हर इंसान को प्रणाम,
होते सभी लोग, सभी के लिए समान,
न कोई जाति , न कोई रंग, न ही कोई लिंग का होता अभिमान,
करते सब सभी का आदर,
अहम, राग , द्वेष रखने वालों का होता अनादर,
न हो अहम कभी अपने धर्म का,
न कभी हो अनादर किसी और के धर्म का,
सिखाते हैं सभी धर्म एक ही सिद्धान्त,
सादा जीवन , उच्च विचार, जीवन उपरांत,
हो गीता , क़ुरान, बाइबिल, या कोई भी धर्म की किताब,
लिखी है सभी में एक ही बात,
अच्छे सोच और अच्छे कर्म ही रहते हैं साथ,
होता कितना सुंदर अगर समझ पाते यह सब,
ना होती मुश्किलें जो है यहाँ अब,
काश होता हम सब के नाम के आगे India, भारत, Human या इंसान,
तो न करता कोई भी जाति या धर्म से अपनी पहचान,
पहचाने जाते हम अपने देश से,
अपनी इंसानियत से,
जहाँ भी जाते , सभी होते अपने,
देख पाते हम हर जगह,
समझ पाते सभी धर्म, सभी लोगों को,
कर पाते पूरे सारे सपने,
होती पहचान स्वयँ से,
न कोई जाति , न कोई धर्म से,
होती अलग कितनी यह दुनिया,
होती हर जगह भरपूर खुशियाँ,
हर इंसान, हर धर्म, हर रंग,
हर जाति, हर लिंग को है आदर मेरा,
बस एक आशा है, न हो इन सब का अहंकार कहीं,
देख पाए अगर हम एक देश, एक इंसानियत सभी में,
दुनिया होगी विकसित, रहेगी कोई बुराई नहीं |

विश्वास

विश्वास, खुद पर होना,
है इतना ज़रूरी,
जितनी महत्वपूर्ण हमारे जीवन के लिए,
है यह दुनिया पूरी,
शक्ति तुम्हारे अंदर है अपार,
बस तुम्हे अपने आप से करना है प्यार,
विश्वास, खुद पर रखना,
में कर सकता हूँ, यह सोच कायम रखना,
कभी पहाड़, कभी खाई,
मिलती रहेगी कुछ दिन, कुछ हफ्ते, या जीवन भर,
हमारा कर्तव्य है चलते रहना,
न कभी रुकना , बस चलते रहना,
विश्वास , खुद पर हमेशा रखना,
न कभी नीचे , न पीछे देखना,
में कर सकता हूँ यह सोचना,
परिवार और दोस्तों का प्यार याद करना,
उनका तुम में विश्वास याद करना,
सृश्टि भी हमेशा साथ देगी,

ताकि जी सके जिंदगी एक संतोष से पूरी,
ताकि भविष्य में ना ले शब्द काश,
ना अपने आप न किसी को दें दोष,
चाहे आगे हो कुछ भी ,
बस हो ज़िम्मेदारी स्वयं की,
कोशिश है करने की हर तमन्ना पूरी ,

न कभी पीछे मुड़के देखना चाहते कोई राह अधूरी,
उड़ना चाहते ,दौड़ना चाहते,
लेकिन ना चाहते करना अनादर , न किसी को ठेस,
खुद के विचार रखना न हो गलत,
न झुकाएँ कोई शान,
बस कोशिश है बनने की एक अच्छा  इंसान,
जब तक खुश रहे यह अंतर मन,
खुशहाल रहे यह पूरा जीवन ,
हमेशा रहेंगे आपके दिशाएं और संस्कार हमारे साथ,
जो भी करे हम इस जीवन में,

बचपन : इतना प्यारा , इतना सुन्दर

कदम , इस दुनिया में जब रखा ,
ज़हन, इस शरीर का जाग उठा,
दुनिया ने कहलाया उसे बचपन,
सभी की खुशियों का था वह कारन,
मन में हंसना , मन में रोना ,
आता था उस बचपन को ,
सपनो में खुश होना,
अनजान होकर प्यारी सी नींद में,
एक सुन्दर सी मुस्कान से ,
बहलाता  सभी  के दिल को,
अनजान इस दुनिया की जंग से ,
अनजान  इस संसार के जीवन से,
वह बचपन , इतना प्यारा , इतना सुन्दर |

पूछता था सवाल इतने साफ़ दिल से ,
सवाल ऐसे के पूछ रहा हो कोई सितारा, दूर संसार से,
की कोई भी ना ढूंढ पाए वह जवाब,
लेकिन कोई मना भी ना कर पाए जवाब से,
हस्ते सब , उन सवालों पर,
लेकिन नाज़ करते उन  नादानियों पर,
सवाल पूछने की वह मासूम कला,
जो बचपन में होती अपार,
धीरे धीरे यह वास्तविकताएं , यह सीमाएं ,
ले जाती यह मासूमियत दूर दराज ,
दे जाती हमें अनुभव ,
पर भूल जाते हम देखा सीमाओं के पार,
वह बचपन , इतना प्यारा , इतना सुन्दर |

देता था जवाब इतने शुद्ध मन से ,
की कोई अनुभवी भी न समझ पाए,
सब रह जाते दांग,
इतनी नादान सोच देखकर,
वह बचपन , इतना प्यारा , इतना सुन्दर |

हँसता था, सभी को हंसाता था ,
रोता  था, पर कुछ ही देर में फिर हंसने लगता  ,
न कोई राग द्वेष ,
न कोई लालच, न कोई लालसाएं विशेष ,
इतना प्यारा था, इतना सुन्दर था,
वह साधारण मन, वह निराला बचपन ,
सभी को एक समान देखता ,
न कोई भेदभाव , न प्यार का कोई आभाव ,
न ऊंच नीच की समझ ,
न कोई डर , न कोई घमंड ,
इतना सुन्दर , इतना प्यारा था वह बचपन  |

काश वह बचपन , ढूंढ पाते हम फिर से,
इतने सालों के अनुभव, से मिल जाये अगर वह बचपन की नादानियाँ ,
तो भर जाएँगी हर जगह खुशियां,
काश हंस पाते हम बिना सोचे समझे ,
पूछ पाते वह सवाल फिर से,
ढूंढ पाते वह जवाब फिर से,
कर पाते प्यार सारे संसार से ,
बिना कुछ सोचे , बिना कुछ समझे,
एक ऐसा जीवन, जिसमें हो सभी के लिए  प्यार ,
खुशियों का ना हो आभाव ,
और न किसी  के लिए भेदभाव ,
आइये ढूंढे वह बचपन हम सभी में ,
जो बनाता है हमे एक सच्चा, साधारण , प्यारा सा इंसान ,
जो है  हमारे इस जीवन की मजबूत जड़ें ,
ढूंढ लिया जो हमने वह बचपन फिर से,
मिला दिया उसे हमने अपने अनुभवों से ,
भर जाएगी यह दुनिया खुशियों से ,
होगी सभी के चेहरों पर मुस्कान,
न होगा कोई दुखी, सभी लाएंगे एक दूसरे के लिए मुस्कान ,
इतना सुन्दर , इतना प्यारा था वह बचपन  |

A world view, through the contrasts

Two souls, on their exciting journey to the earth,

Taking birth exactly same day same time,

The only difference was the address, where they reached,

One, let's call him A, born in a palace, in a golden cradle,

Another, let's call him B, born in a street, in a home, without even a table,

Talk before their landing on earth was so strong,

That they'll be in touch for life long,

Will share everything with each other,

Both wanted to survey the world, with a view totally unbiased,

Started this trip just to record their experiences on earth, doing all the trials,

Neither of them knew the meaning of rich or poor,

Nor they knew the value of gold, or the the concept of rupee or dollar,

Neither they knew, they had to give something like money to get something like food,

Nor they knew that even getting water required giving an exchange,

Devoid of any presumption and knowledge of material things,

They started exploring, explaining their surroundings, to each other,

With their magical, invisible telephone rings,

A said, I see so few people in this huge house,

B said, I see 5 people living in one small room,

A told, so many fruits and food being thrown everyday,

B told how people worked day and night just to get some rice for the family, for the day.

A wondered, so much of water is being wasted everyday,

B experienced, drinking less and saving water for everyone in the bay,
A told, I see people around standing just to serve me,
B told, people serving each others , sharing everything in the lack of resources I see,

 A and B, went to the school, 

Studied the principals of physics with all the tools,

Physics said the system must go in the direction of equilibrium,

If not , the system crash will be very near,

A and B , related physics to the system of the world,

Equilibrium, explained, resources must flow from high pressure to low pressure,

To maintain the pace and the peace in this system of the world, 

And not destroy the precious treasure,

This world system might crash,

If the resources don't come towards the equilibrium,

No one in this world , would ever have the triumph,

It should not be a competition , to survive,

It should be a team project, to let the earth be live,

The world , being a team, can create a difference, for the earth, the people of the earth,

And then, every living being shall be the worth.

The two winds

Ever felt the air through the skin,
Peeking through the car window, trying to lean,
One cheek felt the cool, natural, soothing swing,
The other one, suffered the hot, polluted, suffocating wind,
The two air streams trying to fight,
To make us feel the huge contrast,
That how is this evolution creating a blast,
As in, nature and evolution reaching the might,
One air stream depicting the beauty of nature,
The other alerting humans for repercussions of evolution,
Development, if not sustainable, will make the bad wind win,
Evolution , if in harmony with nature , will make every living being win,
Air conditioners, for conditioning the air inside ,pollute the air outside,
The polluted air outside makes us use more conditioners,
And the spiral continues ,
This spiral, between evolution , and destroying the nature,
Will continue forever,
Till we all pledge to sustainable development,
To let the earth live clean and green forever.

The Journey : Between the two entropies

Travelling alone is exciting for some, peaceful for some, boring for some and a new exploration for some. By travelling alone, I mean a journey, not to cover some tourist points on a tourist place, or to check off the bucket list, but experiencing a journey. A journey that settles the chaos in our body and mind from the source and prepares ourselves for the chaos at the destination.
This journey might be a train journey, or a bike ride, or just a walk, but the thing that matters is being alone, which enables us to meet ourselves, introspect ourselves, read our own mind, write about our own self. The two people who can give us an unbiased and a clear opinion about us are , ourselves , and a stranger. While travelling alone, we can meet both of these people. Talking to the self gives us the inner picture of us, the thoughts we actually wanted to have from long time but couldn't because of the chaos outside. Talking to a stranger gives us a whole new world view , a new view about us , about our opinions, that helps us grow , that helps us evolve. Once a while, travelling alone creates an impact on us that lasts for lifetime. Introspection is the key to peaceful life, that comes when we are away from the chaos of daily routine.

Nature always makes me wonder!

Sitting by the beach,
Suddenly, my eyes become so rich,
Staring at the waves for hours,
Feels as nature is like a glass,
So transparent,
So beautiful,
Full of  truth,
So sacred and complete with purity,
Nature always makes me wonder,
How is it so amazing, full of creativity!

Trekking amidst the hills and snow clad mountains,
Suddenly, my muscles become so strong,
Aiming to reach the mighty peak,
We all overcome our fears and trek for days long,
Learning from the huge art pieces by nature,
No matter what, they stand and protect the country,
Nature always makes me wonder,
How is it so amazing, full of loyalty!

Camping by the shining cold river,
Suddenly, my ears become so musical,
Listening the magical sound of stream,
Watching how it never stops flowing,
Quenching the thirst of humans,
Fertilizing the basins that helps crops growing,
Teaches me to share , give back, never stop and keep pouring,
Nature always makes me wonder,
How is it so amazing, full of dignity!

Walking under the silver moonlight,
Suddenly, I feel so satisfied, and inspired at the same time,
That the moon has its dark and light phases,
So do we, in our life, each of us faces,
The moon, being so bright, lighting the dark night, being so alone,
The moon, that never hides its craters, its imperfections,
Tells me to be myself, be proud of myself, and never feel inferior,
Tells me to spread the light to everyone in my way, and never feel alone,
Nature always makes me wonder,
How is it so amazing, full of purity!

Spending some family time under the tree,
Suddenly, I feel so thankful to the creator of this nature,
That the tree is like our parents,
It saves everyone by continuously supplying oxygen,
It provides shade to everyone from the scorching sun,
It brings so much of color to the world,
Flowers to make the world beautiful,
Fruits to feed the living beings,
Teaches me to keep serving the world,
Tells me to always be bound to duty,

I'm not a robot ! Really?

I'm not a robot, a checkbox that we tick every time we submit some request on the internet. Ever thought of it, that why is someone asking me that am i not a robot?, why should I prove that I am not a robot, that's a very simple answer, because those requests can be submitted by a robot too. Thinking if I am slowly on the way of becoming a robot, all the things we do today are governed by technology some or the other way, we see videos that have recommendations based on our likes and dislikes, we read news based on recommendations, we step outside our homes, we book a cab, we follow a map, that's very helpful, but its like even if we know the way, we'll follow the map even if that's showing the longer route, I don't know why we do this. Even if we know that this might be a fake news, we blindly forward it or share it. Even if we love a restaurant , we go somewhere else that's recommended more on the internet, not saying that its bad, I am just saying that we don't think nowadays, we just follow recommendations . Instead we might have thought, explored on the streets, rather than the internet , asked a friend about a good restaurant , and gone their, which is something natural . But just following technology, without thinking is not at all natural. Being a technologist, I know all the pros that artificial intelligence is bringing in to the world in the field of healthcare, or anything else that makes a better place to live in. But if these huge datasets and artificial intelligence lead to something negative, touched by the hands of people who don't want the world to be a good place to live, if it all it leads to manipulating our minds, our personal lives rather than making our lives easier, it will be of no good, if at all, will eventually lead to a technology disaster. We need technology to be our slave and not the master.We should just think before following it.

When I go out, I see 60 percent of the people with earphones on, hearing in their virtual world, I can imagine some years from now, people will be with their own oculus rift/ or some google glasses, seeing in their own virtual places, talking in their microphones, 3 sense organs straight away gone from being present really to virtually. That might be good or bad for the world, but just imagining, our 3 out of 5 sense organs present virtually and not really, we hearing , seeing and talking virtually, very difficult to see that as a natural evolution in human life.

Its like we are being governed by some robots, eventually we might become robots whose mind is controlled by someone more intelligent artificially, who has all the information about our lives, history and might be predicting our future as well. That might be good for some good reason, to help us, and for the betterment of our lives. But i am really scared that might turn out to dominating our lives in near future as technology or the owners of technology have accumulated so much data about us. The information that they have about us, our choices, likes and dislikes, things we are thinking of doing, its like someone is sitting in my virtual home recording everything that i am doing. We all have created our virtual homes on the internet, where we interact with number of people more than we can count, we don't remember the names, just skimming through their lives everyday, for no reason. Talking about our virtual home, we open more and more doors in this home whenever we create a new profile on a new website and tick that terms and conditions checkbox.

Pondering over this thought for some time, i came across an observation that our lives today, are almost completely immersed in the internet and the devices, interacting with some or the other device, some application, or some virtual assistant. the frequency of us talking to humans have significantly decreased. Might be because we think we would gain more by reading an article or seeing a video on the internet rather than talking to an unknown person. Is that really true?  when we travel in trains, we talk to so many people, gain so much more knowledge from their experiences, instead surfing on the internet. Surfing on the internet has become like , we search for abcxyz, we open 10 different tabs , seeing that we have a lot to read now, we just skim over first 2-3 tabs, find something else interesting and then search for that pqrlmn thing, and the remaining tabs are never opened after. This way, we neither go in depth of abcxyz, nor we go in breadth for the same, we just jump from one topic to another. This way might be good for people who just want to get an idea of things, but just getting an idea and not knowing any more doesn't work for the whole life, and this habit is also affecting our real lives, when we dont talk to our closed ones deeply, we are just busy on social walls networking with 1000's of people, just skimming over their profiles, not knowing what good/bad our closed ones are going through that they dont post on social media and they dont want to , they just want to talk to you long through the nights. Another observation i made was, when we talk to someone on the internet , we make an overview about them seeing their social or professional profile, and then talk accordingly. The same way, we introduce ourselves, the other person checks out our professional/social profile, and then talks to us accordingly. Ever imagined how we limit ourselves while talking when we know the background of the other person. When we talk to unknown people in real, in trains, on some journey, on treks, etc, we just talk to them about any random topic in the world, we know them personally, their views about the world, and not talk according to their profiles. See, how different is it to talk really and virtually. Nowadays, talking to real people have reduced significantly, as on journeys, we have our earphones on, devices on, and just avoid talking to people. The former way of talking, where in we see their profile beforehand is actually correct when you are looking for networking and business opportunities, but frankly speaking, life is not just all about business and profit making, its about knowing world view of different people as well, its about seeing things from a different perspective.

Long gone is the time of kings. Where the king was the god for kingdom.A king was the one who everyone followed , who we went to when in need , who managed every happening in the state, who guided the kingdom , who could influence anyone, who governed the state, who had all the information about the kingdom, all the power to bring a change, and basically who everyone believed in.

Thinking of who is going to be the next significant king of the whole world , who will be able to do all these things, I figured out that one who is , or has the potential to become in near future, is the Technology or the one who will own the best technology. The one that we all live with, have in our hands all the time , who we follow every time , who has all the information about us , who manages our lives, who we go to when in need, who matches us with the people that can fulfill our requirements , give us services, and overall managing the entire world. Every morning we wake up, our phones know about our waking time more than our mothers, our phones and so the technology, knows when we are sleeping, going when and where, travelling where, meeting whom, eating what, by pictures obviously, what problems we are suffering from , through our google history, which doctors are we visiting, what means we are travelling, and what not, the list is countless. For all of these good things, giving us better and safer services, I really thank technology , also for its doings and all the sciences put into healthcare, environment, etc, that make the world a better place to live in. But thinking of the negatives, this might turn out to be really disastrous unless the world comes up with efficient cyber laws, information security laws and the faster technology with the governments to track and crack all the negatives and wrongdoings and prevent the same. There is actually tremendous need to do this.

Living life, conventionally or unconventionally

In this huge world of so many people around, both in reality and virtually , we all aspire to be identified and recognized by the world. We are identified by two things significantly, one is our work , what we do to earn a living, and the second is the world’s perception of us, what opinion does the world makes of us. Everyone is trying to be identified in one or the other way, either by finding something different in oneself , doing some unique work and taking the road not taken , working for something different, pretending to be unique, or showing to the world just the uniqueness amongst the commons. I am trying to ask a question on the behalf of a novice , who has just started his/her life in the real world, has just completed the education and is starting an identity of his own. There’s a huge dilemma for him regarding the world, that will the world accept him, his way of life, his thought for life? or reject him, throw him out of his unconventional life to the common man’s world? or he shouldn’t care about the world’s response and follow his own thoughts, be it unconventional or conventional. The question asks what qualities should we aspire to become, is there some clear definition of common or unique?, is living a life mainstream way not accepted, is being common something very easy and not valuable? or being unique has just the two options, either you come out with flying colors, or you get rejected because you are not the best in that uniqueness?… so the question this novice asks is what to do , to try being unique ? or try being a common? or be themselves and not care about the response the world gives?

A caterpillar, when born, amidst all the butterflies, has to follow a certain procedure to become like them, is bound to go in a cocoon , spend some time there, like every other common being in that world does, and when it comes out, when it tries to fly, it is its own choice how and where to fly, where to go, what flowers to pick as its friends in its life. I am just trying to make an analogy that for being unique in our own way and come out with flying colors, its really important for us to experience the common life as well, which everyone else follows, and not worry about what uniqueness, worry about how to be different till we have spent enough time and have learnt to be grounded. The common way of life teaches us how to be grounded and respect the world when we’ll reach colorful heights in the later stage of life. If the caterpillar wouldn’t have spent the time in cocoon, would have started flying just after the birth, he might not have been that stronger what he is now, or he might not be able to respect other caterpillars who are still in their cocoon. The experience of a common life teaches us a lot and that is where we learn to stay grounded the whole life. No matter how many unique colors we have, we’ll always try to spread colors in others lives, be it other butterflies, or other caterpillars.

The novice who asked the questions above thinks that being common and being unique are some important phases of life which everyone should experience. All of us are unique in our own way and should cherish that quality by spreading it to others in the world. Being a commoner is seemed as not a good way of life nowadays, but if we don’t experience and enjoy the commoner’s life, we won’t be able to see the world and the people with a different perspective. We can be both common and unique at the same time as well, when we think of the world by having the perspective of a common man, and what do we do after that thought makes us unique. Although, its true that we should always aspire to be better and better, but enjoying what we have is also really important. Living a common life and being happy and satisfied there is the best approach to life and will be rarely seen in the near future when no one will have time to spend their life enjoying because they would be busy finding the most unconventional way of living the life, just to be identified uniquely in the world. To be identified and recognized in the world, we don’t need to be the greatest, live the most unique life, instead, we just need to experience and enjoy the common life, respect others in the world, both commoners and specials. Living a common life and understanding a common life’s / common man’s problems and a thought to try to solve them will definitely make us unique.

निर्णय

ज़िन्दगी में निर्णय लेना होता है अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण,
छोटे छोटे निर्णयों से होते हैं हमारे कार्य पूर्ण,
चाहे वह हो सुबह जल्दी उठने का निर्णय,
या सुबह उठके व्यायाम करने का निर्णय,
अपने स्कूल या ऑफिस समय पर जाने का निर्णय,
या छुट्टी लेकर अपने परिवार के साथ समय बिताने का निर्णय,
किसी अच्छे एवं मुश्किल कार्य के लिए हाँ करने का निर्णय,
किसी आसान लेकिन बुरे कार्य के लिए ना करने का निर्णय,
कुछ होते आसान और कुछ बहुत कठिन ,
दोनों ही तरह के निर्णयों से हमारा व्यक्तित्व होता बेहतरीन ,
कोई छोटे निर्णय , कोई बहुत बड़े ,
सब में होता है एक तत्त्व आयश्यक,
जो भी हो, निर्णय हो मज़बूत,
विश्वास हो स्वयं में , की मैं कर सकता हूँ ,
फिर भी अगर कुछ गलत आभास हो उसमें,
तो उस निर्णय को सही साबित करने का साहस,
अपनी शक्तियों पे विश्वास करना ही है अच्छे निर्णयों का राज़,
निर्णय कोई ना होता सही ना कोई होता है गलत ,
वह होता है बस एक समय , एक परिस्थिति, एक सोच और सिद्धांतों का परिणाम,
समय और परिस्थिति किसी के नियंत्रण में नहीं,
सोच और सिद्धांत जहाँ हो जाते है सक्षम ,
विक्सित होती है दुनिया, और यह ज़िन्दगी वहीँ ,
बदलता है निर्णयों का महत्व समय क साथ साथ,
सुबह के लिए जो निर्णय अति महत्वपूर्ण था,
वह शाम के लिए नहीं ,
बचपन क लिए महत्वपूर्ण निर्णय ,
बुढ़ापे के लिए नहीं ,
बेहतर है हम पुराने निर्णयों पर चिंता ना करें,
जो हमारे हाथ में नहीं ,
सोच और सिद्धांत अपने और सक्षम बनाये ,
जो हमारे आने वाले निर्णयों को दिशा दिखाए  |

The road called life

Life, a journey, not a destination
World, and its people, the greatest creation,
Life is like a road,
And the people, like vehicles,
All have their own source and destination,
All travelling in the same direction,
The direction called the time axis,
But no one taking it as a race,
Everyone moving at their own pace,
Enjoying with their fellow riders,
Some overtaking,
Some giving side to others,
Is the beautiful part to watch,
All following the same set of rules,
Ones breaking , suffering the penalty,
Some patient ones putting a step back, to resolve the traffic,
Some aggressive ones, increasing the traffic,
But finally, everyone reaches their own destination,
Some know the way well enough,
Some taking the help of maps, or asking others,
Some might breakdown in between,
Some might help others,
Some vehicles pick up the passengers,
The same drop the passengers,
Like humans pick up people in their life,
And drop some as well,
Small ones like two wheelers and autos,
like children in humans,
have a privilege to get a way out from anywhere,
being flexible like anything,
and some like trucks and buses,
like adults in humans,
have their fixed way and route,
have their fixed speed,
but they have to be like that , they can't be like small ones,
to maintain the traffic and the rules,
This goes on and on and on,
Everyone stops for some time,
Refuel themselves,
Continue again,
But no one stops forever,
This journey goes on forever.
Vehicles come and go,
But the road goes on forever,
People come and people go,
But the world goes on forever...

The question : What if?

What If "xyz"? What If "abc"? We always think and ask these kind questions to ourselves about our life and try to find an answer which gives excuses to our current state of life and our past deeds, these answers shift the responsibility of our life and our present state from us to something like xyz and abc that never happened. In simple words, we always try to hide ourselves under the blanket of events and circumstances that happened to us. Those events in life matter but what matters more is how we reacted to them and how we handled them which leads to the fact that these what if's are totally imaginary. Generally, how we ask these questions is something like, the what if's where xyz and abc are events that we take from someone else's life who is more successful . What if that event happened to me and i would have been more successful now. This way of thought leads us to excusing ourselves of our own life and give us a way to think in a very limited scope. Those xyz and abc already exist in the someone else's life. Instead if we find new xyz and abc's which can transform the equation of our life to a totally different meaning, then why not?
I think we can ask these what if's in another two ways which can lead us to a better and happier way of looking at things, with more innovations, with more satisfaction in life.
My idea to write this is if we use these what if's questions in our life to broaden our scope of thoughts, where xyz and abc can be anything happening under the sun, they can be a new idea for innovation, an idea to make the world a better place to live, an idea to help the society.
If we use these questions and try to find an answer, by ourselves, or by talking to other people, we can have an outcome which will surely surprise ourselves and the world. I would just say that where ever we are, we should pause, think and ask the what if and try to do some innovation which can make lives easier in this tough world.
Another way I look at these xyz and abc is the things that we are privileged with in this world, a normal human body, a normal living standard(roti, kapda, makan), a normal state of the country(unlike syria and north korea), a normal family. What if we didn't have even one of them, can you ever imagine living that life happily?, there are a huge no. of people in those situations too, who are struggling to have a normal life. And we, taking this normal life for granted, are struggling for an extraordinary life, more money, more power. If we answer to the what if we are devoid of  any one of these so normal things, we can't even imagine ourselves living this life in this age. When we take these normal things so granted and not value them, the life takes us granted and teaches us the values. I would just say that every morning, thank the world and family for giving you this normal life, and try to think about what we can do for those who are devoid of these normal life.
Being thankful to the world, and seeing it through a new angle everyday is a magic that we have and we should make use of it at the best.

Hi! I am a pen..

Hi! I am a pen. I used to be the most important part of a human's life some time before. But now, I feel rejected, I feel I am losing my importance gradually in the world. Because of the digital world growing, smartphones, keyboards and other technologies are taking my place, I feel that way. I also have some of my old friends who feel alone and are used by humans rarely now like alarm clocks, diaries, newspapers, phone books, calendars, calculators and many more. But yes, we all have to accept that the world is changing and all of these friends I mentioned above have taken a soft form in smartphones or computers and the physical form will gradually be extinct. Talking about myself, the pen users have declined but some are still my favorite and I am their buddy too. I am talking about school and college going students, to whom i am a big part of their life, they use me to their best and educate themselves using me which  i feel is a very satisfying job for me. I feel i am their warrior when they study and prepare for their exams and a conqueror for them when they are writing their exams with me. I learn a lot being with them about life that how to continue going to school even after failures. I really love learning with them in schools and colleges. They cry when they lose their pens or pen caps, or other kids have better pens, but they never hate me, they always love me and my sister pencil. While the students use the cheaper versions of me, there are another set of premium users who use the best versions of me to do the most important thing for the country and its people. I am talking about the government officers and the professionals who use me for doing their signatures on the papers and documents that bring the change to the country. I have seen all the transactions , both above and under the table happening, some with good intentions and some with bad intentions, some for public interests, some for personal interests. But yes, majorly, those signatures, the numbers on the papers and the transactions with them matter the most to bring the change in the country and even if any paper brings the smallest of change, it is important. I have seen many users of mine who work day and night for making the world a better place to live, these are the ones that I learn from that no matter how small or big you are, if are trying to work for the world's good , even its 1 percent, it will bring satisfaction to you. As i said before, I feel i am losing my importance , if seen quantitatively, but when i see that i am proving useful for these students and the officials, both of which are impacting the world for its betterment, I feel satisfied with my life. I accept the fact that the time is changing at a fast pace, and soon, technology will replace me, but as long as it  is for the betterment of society, I will happily die and love being remembered by the students and other people who used me in their life and became successful using me. My simple suggestion to all of the humans who feel low anytime, rejected or depressed in their life, think about what good you have done and how you have brought happiness in other's lives and you will surely feel the happiest then. Accept the changing time and move on, with the world, not feeling it as a race, moving at your own pace and being happy. Happy digital world to all of you, hope you all make the most of it in a good way and make the world a better place to live for everyone. Please keep some of us and my friends in the museums for the next generation to see what we looked like out of the smartphones. :)
